Pearly Everlasting

Native to most of North America, this everlasting is a larval host plant for the American Lady and Painted Lady Butterflies. It is commonly found in dry, sandy or gravelly soils. The flowers are white with yellow centers, and the foliage is gray-green and woolly. The flowers are great in dry arrangements. Not recommended for rich, fertile soil as it can be a bit invasive and floppy.
