Salvia coccinea 'Summer Jewel Red'

Summer Jewel Red Hummingbird Sage has spikes of brilliant red flowers that are enjoyed by hummmingbirds. This compact plant is perfect for the hummingbird garden. May act as a perennial in zones 9-11, but is usually treated as an annual. May reseed in zones 8+. Appreciates some shade during the heat of the day where summers get really hot.
